NYSUM  – Extreme Makeover – Women only

For 37 years the New York School of Urban Ministry has partnered with pastors, churches, and numerous ministries throughout NYC. The result is the training of over 150,000 urban leaders in “Hands on” compassion ministry.  NTC has been able to benefit from this work and support it for over 20 years.

During Extreme Makeover Weekend, more than 150 women from at least eight States will help NYSUM provide more than 500 cosmetic and wardrobe makeovers for homeless and battered women in New York City homeless shelters.

This short term missions trip will cost $300/person and will cover transportation to/from NYC as well as around the city, lodging, meals at NYSUM and the support to help make this ministry continue.  A $50 non refundable fee secures your spot on the team.  There are 8 spots available.  The rest of the fee is due by the first week of April.  If you are not able to make it this time we hope you will look for other opportunities in the future!
